Vehicle Technician Accredited Assessment (VTAA) Course Overview
The VTAA course is an alternative to the now discontinued NTTA (Nominated Tester Training Assessment) and is an alternative to the IMI Light Vehicle Inspection Technician. The course will develop your skills around emissions, electrics, steering, suspensions, wheels, tyres and brakes. The Vehicle Technician Accredited Assessment is recognised by the DVSA. To pass the assessment you must pass all 4 modules, which is split into a series of small practical tasks and a 50 question online exam.
We make learning easy, using 90% practical with 10% theory based study and using meaningful assessments that reflect the demands of today’s competitive industry, thus giving you a solid grounding in key principles and ideas.
Once you have passed the VTAA you will gain a lifelong certificate which is accepted as the first step towards achieving your MOT Testers License.
